Winery Tour & Wine Tasting (11:00 – 16:00)
- Avantis Estate, Farm & Winery
- On Sunday morning, guests will have the opportunity to discover the rich terroir of Evia with a visit to Avantis Estate, one of the region’s most respected wineries, on a complimentary winery tour and wine tasting experience.
- The experience will begin with a guided tour of the winery’s production facilities and barrel cellar, where guests will learn about the history of the estate, which dates back to 1834, as well as the philosophy and techniques behind the production of its wines.
- Through the detailed explanations of the estate’s guides, visitors will gain insight into the winemaking process — from vineyard cultivation and grape selection to fermentation, aging and bottling — while discovering the unique character that the Evian landscape brings to the wines.
- Following the tour, guests will enjoy a wine tasting experience, selecting from different tasting options featuring wines produced at the estate.
- Participants will have the opportunity to savor their favorite wines by the glass, accompanied by a selection of cheeses and cured meats, while relaxing in the estate’s welcoming green courtyard, overlooking the Sauvignon Blanc vineyard planted in 1990.
- The visit will be organized in scheduled groups, ensuring a structured and enjoyable experience for all participants.
